Start to Finish - Exploring the Explorations

A gang of 4 girls left delhi on a chilly winter night at 21st December to explore the world on their on. Sounds quiet like DDLJ???? hummm....but thank god we never missed a train....Yea it was me, my friend and her two friends who set out for a journey to Jaipuir and Udaipur from Delhi.

Let me introduce all of them - Miss M - my friend - the organizser and the common point of discussions. To be precise - the bean bag where all three of us waited to catch her and bang our head....no she was quiet like a mummy on the trip ....taking care of all the girls ...especially me....

Miss P - The sharp featured maiden with a sleek posture...whom i met at M's home and developed quiet a good rapport...quiet chirpy and ready to fly always....

Miss R - The elegant and reserved one with a beautiful smile....who was my laughing mate during our way back to Delhi....thanks to the "corporate people" in the train....:)

The journey began on a chilly night in the Volvo where we encountered our first victim that would be discussed till our next seven generations do not find a more interesting on than this one....Yes Mr. Wrong Bus.....

He came like a blazing storm and handed over his ticket to me in style chewing a gum and sticking to his mobile. Trying to speak in his desi + american accent ...quiet like you have mixed the dal with noodles...imagine the combination...! I saw his seat number was same as mine...but the noodles were soon seperated from the dal as the conductor discovered that he has boarded the right bus on a wrong date....

Poor chap..all is efforts to impress us went in drain....and after running for a piece of cloth to cover his face, he finally debaorded and allowed us to laugh out that the entire bus could hear.

Lots of other interesting phases of the journey to be unveiled...jaipur, udaipur bus journey and finally the returning one....

Celebration or Mourning? - The 6th of Dec

Why do I write negative things or may be controversial? Just want to share a few things that otherwise can create a big debate if discussed verbally. Cant keep myself away from such a topic. The topic popped up during a discussion between couple of colleagues about Babri Masjid. One celebrated the Black Day where as for the other it was ‘Shaurya Divas’.

Babri Masjid - A few days before Demolition

From just a one liner I could make out the sentiments, the feelings, or should I say the extremism and fanatism that lies at core of the people. IT is useless and now a very common thing to say that politicians use the feelings of common people for their interest.

But how do people react????? In a fanatic, insane, extremely violent manner that destroys many homes and invites bloodshed with nude swords. How many times we hear “Hindu Muslim Bhai Bhai”…but just peep inside your conscious and then analyze the validity of this statement today.

When you believe in God, you must believe in humanity and respect the life he has created. If there was a Ram mandir in place of a masjid, then let it be. Would you demolish Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Lal Quila and the entire Fatenput Sikri just because some 100 years ago the land was owned by a hindu. We as common people are stupid that ride high on sentiments engulfed by others and leave our sanatism far behind when the word “REVENGE” creeps in.
Demolition Site

The English started it and we are still continuing it even worsening the situation. I don’t believe in God, I am an Atheist because I have never seen God acting as a bridge I have always seen blood shed and violence in the name of God.

WHEN GOD NEEDS A HOME TO LIVE IN....

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM US.

GOD IS EVERYWHERE BUT IN THE HEARTS...

"Dear God - I am leaving this place to make way for you."

Metro Plus...

Contuined from the previous post where I encountered this dirty ape like creature gazing at me. I was standing in fact dangling from the upside handles in the metro and this man was sitting just in front of me. He started gazing at me in such a way that I thaught there was some problem with the way I was dressed. I just conciously turned aside to ensure there was no wardrobe disfunction....And it was fine...how could it be?

Then I turned back to find the man gazing in the same manner. I made it a point not to ignore him and stasted to notice him. He wold look into my eyes, tuen his face away and smile mysteriously. As if telline me "I will do what I want, what can you do about me?". I continuously noticed him and suggested him to keep his eyes off me by giving him a stern look. But that man was a drunkard or what...i dont know...he had the guts to make an eye contact and smile at me....

Once I thaought to just ignore the stupid person and not to create a scene as my station was quiet close.

Awwwwwwwwww!!! so disgusting...I was close to my station and reached the gate from where I just peeped over my shoulder and again there he was again looking at me in the cheapest possible manner. That was enough...I lost the patience and hence began the drama:

Me: Kya baat hai bhai...badi nazaren ghoomti hain tumhari (whats the matter, your eyes move a lot?)

Man: What me? No thats your illusion..theres nothing like that...Maine kya keh diya

Me: Achha kya kar diya..I have been ignoring you for such a long time...and you have the guts to lookinto my eyes and smile.

Man: dimag kharab hai kya

Me: My anger reached the tempest, "dimag kharab kiska hai pata chal jayga...chalo is station par utro CRPF iska faisla karegi"

Man: Arre kya baat hai...main kuch nahi kiya

Me: Chal abhi utar station par

Man: woooooooo.....hesitantly....mujhe neend aa rahi thi..isliye eyes thori aise ho rahi hai"

Me: if you have made a mistake admit it dont lie

Man: Ok madam, I am sorry.

And i got off the train, thankgod i didnt miss my station amid all this.

Some people really dont deserve to be ignored. Appreciative Glances are welcome but a woman can very well distinguish between a friendly glance and a cheap & lewd one easily. No one likes to create a scene and invite unwanted comments but untill you stay silent you have to bear this and silence means you permit the offence & liberties to be taken by others.
