Yet Again After 20 Years

I am a fan of Amir Khan yet again after 20 years when i saw his first movie as an actor i.e "quyamat se quyamat tak". I was really smitten my the boy next door looks and dimpled smile....that was an enough reason at that age to fall for him ....And now after 20 years, I just came across the acumen and brain behind those looks when i saw his directorial début - Taare Zameen Par.

A perfectly sculptured movie, dealing with very sensitive issue. The praise is all for the director who conveyed a message so beautifully and in a manner that every one can understand it. Its not one of those movies that goes as a bouncer above the common people and the director shows how abstract he is.

There is nothing abstract in this movie...every thing is simple and from the heart. I have watched it two times and can actually relate to the situation when I used to be a tutor in my second year of college for a 6 year old boy studying in KG class. He had the same problem... his name is Lokesh but we call him Mannu fondly.

really I could make it out…writing opposite alphabets, confusion in letters, writing different spellings for a single word....he couldn’t even write his name....used to write all upside down.... I used to be patient with him…but sometimes it was really frustrating and i am ashamed to say that I even used to slap him.

Poor boy....must have been going through hell....I taught him for 2 odd months and them surrendered.... it was really impossible to keep your calm while teaching him....and i doubt he could survive in that class....... I hope he is doing well now and his problem has been identified.

And wish that many other people like me would have come to know about this problem and have learned the way to deal with it.

Dial 100 for Help

I am quiet used to such incidents and ofcourse my readers would have been used to it as well. Guess what would have happened? Right..a lesson again on thr road for a misbehaving man - a Rikshaw Wala. I wont go in details as it is almost monotonous to talk about the same things again and again. Just a quick snapshot...

Got a Rikshaw to the metro sation and gave a Rs. 10 note to the rikshaw wala...but he returned it saying "15 rupees dena parega..."

I insisted him to be in his limits while speaking and mind his tone. But you know some people just dont understand..i took the note and walked away...he yellled "aye...ladki mere paise lekar bhag gai..." i came back to warn him that if he coudlnt control his tongue i will dial 100. he said.."haan to karona...hum koi darte hain ka".....

Most of us use this as a threat...he wouldn't have imagined...that i would dial it actually...yes i dialed it and the crowd around began convincing me to leave the "poor man". The policemen asked me the exact place to send the van...but i settled the issue by asking for an apology by the rikshaw wala and let him go.

So just dont say...actually dial 100...it really works.

I Miss You Mumma....

I miss you mumma…
Since I couldn’t hear your voice to wake me up in the morning
I could wake up my self but loved the way you said “taniaaaaa….tanman”
That I waited to hear to get out of the bed….

I miss you mumma…
Since I couldn’t get the honey lemon water in the morning
I am taking it myself but couldn’t find it sweet!
What did you add to make it sweeter??

I miss u mumma….
When I don’t find you after reaching home in the evening
When I don’t find that glass of water…
I am taking it myself but the thirst doesn’t seem to lower
What did you mix to make every sip so satisfying?

One Day You will be at Home…
And I will not come back from office…
One Day You will have no one to wake up…
One Day You will have no one to make honey lemon for…

Because you will send me to a New Home
And I have to live without you Forever…
Then … I will miss you mumma…

Finishing Touches

After visiting jaipur, we went to Udaipur to discover the magic of the Era Bygone in the big havelis and lakes in the city. There are many memorable incodents that can be shared, but the ultimate one is when our final journey from Udaipur to aipur began.

If i tell you that I know that our co passangers have had one year of married life, the girl is giving an MBA entrance, the Guy is an economist and used to teach at a collega, and they are travelling with their mother inlaw to see the girls brother who is suffering with a liver's ailment in Ganga Ram hospital...what would you think? Probably that we found some good company in the boogie and chatted a lot with with.

No..Never ...we never had a word with them. Everything OK till a friend came and joined the family in our boogie. The Girl and all the family members just started an endless conversation that may have ended after we were exhausted of hearing and retired to sleep. As sson as the Girl came in....all of them began unlimited discussions on her current job, her marriage going to happen in February ..to be exact on February 15th and the Gujrati family was just listening to the Guy and Girl.

Poor Wife would have been fuming with in but just kept a smile on her face and joined their discission every now and then. The chatter box stopped around 12 O clock and imagine our conditon!!! Two of us started playing cards and me n R were continuously giggling infact covering our faces to hide our laugh after hearing the thaughtful discussion of the two would be corporate giants.

We even asked for fevicol at a platform so that we could mix it up with tea to seal their mouths...but you know luck is not always on your side....We took a breath when they started to sip the tea because they had to pause to take a SIP. Poor people had to make such a big compromise.

And finally when the girl went to her seat to sleep, the Gujrati family began gossiping about the same girl. huhhhhhhh!!! me n miss R went out of our senses and started laughing aloud and the other two girls just ignored us to conrtol their laugh and concentrated on playing cards.....

Anyways it was a memorable finish to a beautiful journey where I made friends with two beautiful people and would believe that we would share many such memories togather.

Reaching the Destination...

MRP at the waiting lounge in Jaipur

Well...as we moved ahead Me and Miss M started our flurry of gosspis and caught up with all the happenings that we missed in past 3 - 4 months. After that we chose to stop that chatter box and let others around us sleep in peace....As we were crossing Gurgaon..Miss M got up and peeped through the window and said: "OOO....this is Gurgaon"...

And I gave a solid evidence of being out of my senses to reply: "ooooho u stupid this is not any Gaon...cant u see the big buildings!"...

M ; U stupid this is Gurgaon ...

OK OK thats fair enough n i pushed her back into her seat and went for a short nap.....

On the other side Miss P & R shrinking with the chill as they were not wearing those "big coats" that me & M had. We were quiet happy infact proud of ourselves carrying those heavy winter coats....Throughout the journey we were sharing this immense joy of being clad in the coats that the other two girls didnt have....and ofcourse we did lend them the coats when they begged from us....we were quiet generous to the poor girls u know....

We reached Jaipur around 5.30 in the morning and I recognized the trademark pink color while entering the city... and as soon as we reached our room...We began the photo session in the most photogenic part of the room...
jaipur guest house

That poor window...had to bear us during that photosession as that decorated chair in a photostudio....And miss P...just slipped into the blanket and stuck to the bed untill the photosession begun....We had discovered a way to get her up and going....as we took the camera..she was out of her bed tooo.....

I was the first one to get ready and leave the room to explore the area around...all of them were left in the mess, waiting to raid the bathroom and the mirror ofcourse.... and I roamed around the place quiet comfortablly without a haste .....As expected miss P was the last one to get ready......
